Considering the Ford Focus for your new car? If so, you have plenty of options to choose from in 2018. The Focus comes in 10 separate trims, providing each and every driver with the customization they need. Deciding between these models can be tricky, so use this guide to make your decision easier.

S

As the base model for the Focus, the S is still a reliable and potent vehicle. It comes with 15-inch silver steel wheels paired with AdvanceTrac with electronic stability control to keep you safe on the road. The smart charging USB ports located in the center cluster provide your phone and GPS with the power they need to charge, helping to save your car’s battery power.

SE (Sedan and Hatch)

A step up from the S is the SE, which comes in both sedan and hatchback variants. In either option, you’ll enjoy a 2.0-liter direct-injection I-4 engine mated to a six-speed PowerShift automatic transmission. Quad-beam halogen headlights will illuminate the road in front of you, while a SiriusXM radio package will give you over 150 channels of music to groove out to on your next road trip.

SEL (Sedan and Hatch)

Also available in both sedan and hatchback styles is the SEL trim. Both versions seat five people and come with dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control, a Sony 10-speaker audio system, and 17-inch machined-aluminum black wheels. You’ll also benefit from the Sync 3 entertainment system, which harnesses the power of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto to improve your ride.

Titanium (Sedan and Hatch)

Choose from either a sedan or hatchback body style in the Titanium trim. On this trim, you’ll notice a number of exterior improvements, such as a rear spoiler and chrome bezel fog lamps. Inside, the heated steering wheel and dual-zone electronic automatic temperature control keep you cozy in any weather. Take comfort in available safety features like active park assist and blind spot information system with cross-traffic alert.

ST

If you’re looking for a boost in performance, consider the ST trim. This eye-catching car packs a potent 252 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque thanks to the 2.0-liter I-4 EcoBoost engine. Inside, the sporty display continues with Recaro leather-trimmed seats featuring the ST logo, a flat-bottom and leather-wrapped steering wheel, door-sill scuff plates, and aluminum pedals.

RS

As a limited edition 2018 model, the RS will only be around for a short time. It comes with several unique features, including a black spoiler, black mirror caps, RS wheel center caps, and carbon fiber accents on the interior. It comes with a bigger engine than the other models, packing a 2.3-liter EcoBoost variant that produces 350 horsepower. You’ll enjoy top-of-the-line features, like a heated steering wheel, heated mirrors, and leather-trimmed heated seats.

The 2018 Focus also comes in an electric model, which can get you 118 mpg in the city and 96 mpg on the highway with its electric engine. This is a great choice for those interested in reducing their carbon footprint. For more information on all these models and to take a test drive, stop by Power Ford today.
