This September, Power Ford is proud to join Ford dealers around the world in the quest to host the World’s Largest Dealer Food Drive. From September 15–30, we’re inviting our neighbors across Albuquerque to help us “Fill a Ford” with donations that will directly support local families in need.
Building Together for Our Community
Ford’s Building Together initiative was designed to rally communities around important causes like food security. Across more than 9,000 Ford dealers worldwide, the goal is to collect 1 million pounds of food, and Power Ford is committed to doing our part here in New Mexico.
Food insecurity affects thousands of families in Albuquerque, and every donation makes a difference. By filling up a Ford vehicle with food, we’re showing how the strength of our community can help combat hunger.
How You Can Help
We’re keeping it simple:
- Bring your donation to Power Ford anytime between September 15–30
- Look for our Ford F-150 “Fill a Ford” collection vehicle in the showroom
- Drop off non-perishable items like:
- Canned tuna, chicken, or salmon (pop-top cans preferred)
- Low-sodium soups, stews, or chili
- Peanut butter and nut butters
- Whole grain pasta, rice, or cereal
- Canned vegetables and fruit (in natural juice, no sugar added)
Please note: Perishable items, glass containers, and opened packages cannot be accepted.
Why It Matters for Albuquerque
While this effort is part of a global campaign, the impact will be local. All donations collected at Power Ford will go directly to a local Albuquerque food bank, ensuring your generosity supports families right here in our community.
