Are you a fan of the TV show “Better Call Saul?” This black comedy is a prequel to the show “Breaking Bad” and premiered back in 2015, earning rave reviews from critics and viewers alike. It’s filmed on location in Albuquerque to provide an authentic on-camera look. This means there are plenty of spots in the area you can visit to see where the actors and crew filmed some of the show’s most iconic moments. Check out these locations if you want to take your fandom to the next level.

The Nail Salon

Remember back in season one, when Jimmy was a struggling lawyer and had his office in the back of a nail salon? This is a real nail salon called Day Spa and Nail that you can visit. While they might not provide cucumber water like in the show, the nail technicians do provide excellent mani-pedis. Pamper yourself while soaking in the atmosphere; the address is 160 Juan Tabo Blvd. in Albuquerque.

Chuck’s House

Did you drool over the brilliant architecture of Chuck’s house? Chuck is Jimmy’s older brother who suffers from a disorder in which he is allergic to all forms of electricity. In the show, the house is stripped bare of all electronics and lit only by lanterns, but in real life, this house has all the gadgets and devices of a normal modern home. To stop by, visit 1607 San Cristobal Road in Albuquerque.

Hamlin, Hamlin, and McGill Building Lobby

In the show, the law firm of Hamlin, Hamlin, and McGill is one of the biggest in all of New Mexico and has a giant, multilevel headquarters. Because it would be too impractical to take over an entire office building, the show shot these scenes at several different locations. For the lobby scenes, the cameras headed to 1810 East University Ave. in Las Cruces. In real life, this expansive entranceway is really the home of the Pan American Center, which is on the campus of the University of New Mexico.

Mike’s House

True fans will recognize the house used as Mike’s domicile in “Better Call Saul” is the same as the one used in “Breaking Bad,” further proof of the producers’ commitment to continuity in this series. While it looks tiny on the outside, this three-bedroom, one-bathroom home has 1,216 square feet, providing plenty of space for the cameras to do their thing. Visit 204 Edith Blvd. NE in Albuquerque to take your obligatory selfie here.

Los Pollos Hermanos

What would a trip to the filming locations of “Better Call Saul” be without a stop at Los Pollos Hermanos? This fried chicken chain plays an integral role in both shows, acting as a front for Gus Fring’s drug money laundering. You can see both the interior and exterior locations of these scenes by stopping by the popular Twisters restaurant at 4257 Isleta Blvd. SW in Albuquerque.

With season four of this hit show currently underway, there’s no better time than now to take a road trip around town to see where the action took place. Add these places to your itinerary for a fun day of walking in Jimmy McGill’s shoes.
