Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Retrieve cars and take them to the stall area after receiving repair orders from the dispatcher.
• Perform work as outlined on repair order with accuracy and efficiency, and maintaining consistency with dealership and factory standards.
• Perform adequate diagnosis of problems and provide repairs when authorized.
• Use professional communication with the Parts Department to obtain necessary parts.
• When the customer requests it or when the part is under warranty, tag and save parts to be turned in.
• When work outlined is not needed, when more time is needed for the given work, or when more work is needed than outlined, make sure to inform the service advisor.
• Maintain specific documentation of work performed.
• Road-test vehicles after repairs to ensure that the customer complaint has been satisfied.
• Use quality checks to ensure quality of work performed.
• Attend your training classes.
• Stay on top of all factory and technical bulletins.
• Make sure that all customer vehicles are kept clean during service and repair.
• Carry out all safety and housekeeping policies and procedures.
• Comprehend and follow all guidelines and regulations regarding service and repair work, be they federal, state, or local in nature.
